This video demonstrates how to install the motor with the manual release and how to set the brake for proper operation. Please follow the instructions provided in the video. You may need to repeat the process several times until all screws are set at the proper gap.

When the manual release is pulled, the motor shaft should rotate freely. When the brake is engaged (powered down), the motor shaft should not move, even under force.

In this video we provide instructions on how to properly replace the manual brake release assembly. This is typically done when replacing a brake or when the release no longer operates as needed.

To begin, remove the old manual release if you are not replacing the complete brake assembly. You will need to have the brake either completely removed or at least free from the motor to replace the manual release. Please follow the steps in the video, ensuring the release handle is in the lower position.

This video details how to remove the Film Roll Slide spring assembly to change out the film roll springs.

The springs should be changed out when the force to hold the film roll against the pre-stretch roller is no longer strong enough to firmly hold the film roll against the roller. Typically, when the springs are depleted, the film roll starts to slip within the trailer, and you lose stretch and tension on the coil.

To replace the springs, start by removing the three 10-32 Button Head Screws. Disengage the spring rod assembly and remove the spent springs. Replace the spent springs with new springs. Replace the spring rod assembly with the new springs and tighten the three 10-32 button head screws. Complete this process on both the left and right side of the film trailer.
